Sometimes it is just water

IV hydration at home in Salt Lake & Park City

A liter of fluid from $125, or a drip with B vitamins and amino acids for energy and recovery — given by a nurse practitioner at your home, office or hotel anywhere along the Wasatch Front.

Utah dries you out

High desert, low humidity, altitude and summer heat make it easy to run behind on fluid without noticing. Most of the time, drinking more fixes it. When you are well behind — after a stomach bug, a long race, a day in the heat or a hard first day at elevation — an IV replaces a full liter in well under an hour.

The drips

HydrationSimplest

For athletes and teams

Athletic Performance is built for training blocks and race recovery, and teams can book together: three to four people get 10% off each, five or more get 20% off each.

If you compete in a sport with anti-doping testing, check your rules first. The World Anti-Doping Agency restricts IV infusions of more than 100 mL in a 12-hour period unless they are given in a hospital setting or covered by a therapeutic use exemption.

Where we come

Homes, offices, hotels and rentals across Salt Lake City, Park City and Salt Lake, Utah, Davis, Summit and Weber counties, with no travel fee.

Questions

Is plain IV fluid really worth it?

Sometimes it is genuinely all you need, which is why it is on the menu. If you are only mildly dehydrated and can drink comfortably, water and electrolytes at home may do the job — and we will tell you that.

What is in the Hydration drip?

One liter of sterile saline, which contains sodium and chloride. Magnesium, B12, vitamin C and other boosts can be added at $35 each.

How long does it take?

Usually 30 to 45 minutes from start to finish, including setup.

Can you treat our team after a race?

Yes. Everyone is assessed individually, and groups of five or more should call or text with 48 hours’ notice.
