Where the Myers Cocktail comes from

The drip is named for Dr. John Myers, a Baltimore physician who gave intravenous vitamin and mineral infusions to his patients in the 1960s and 70s. Dr. Alan Gaby later described the approach in detail, and it became the template for nearly every wellness drip that followed.

Ours keeps the spirit of the original — B vitamins, vitamin C, magnesium and zinc in IV fluids — with glutathione added.

Questions

What is the difference between the Myers Cocktail and the Signature?

They share the same core formula. The Signature is our house version and the usual starting point; the Myers is the classic by name. Your provider can adjust either one to how you feel.

How often do people get a Myers Cocktail?

It varies widely. Your nurse practitioner can talk through what makes sense for you; there is no package to buy and no pressure to rebook.

Can I add NAD+ or extra vitamins?

Yes. Boosts such as B12, vitamin C, glutathione and zinc are $35 each, and NAD+ is $1 per mg.

Is it covered by insurance?

No. HSA and FSA cards are accepted, with eligibility set by your plan administrator, and an itemized receipt is available on request.
